My first AK-47 jam

After nearly 2K rounds my WASR finally jammed a shell. It did stove pipe one once but I attribute that to the final round from the PMAG. I know these things are lengendary for not jamming up and I'm impressed it took this long to do. I do clean it after every shoot. I was shooting that bulk yugo "mildly" corrosive stuff w/ a yugo mag. Gotta love AK's.

Might get worse with that plastic mag. The feed lips lill wear and reliability will go.

yep, they are great. I got a new wasr 10/63 the other day, took it out without even cleaning it and shot 4 mags through it with 0 problems. I love it

only time my sa-85m has jammed was due to the hollowpoints

Thousands upon thousands of rounds through the majority of my AK's and never a stopper. Time to get rid of it. Once they start misbehavin,.....time to pick out another one,........OR,.......merely find out what caused it to jam up. (9outa10) times it's something so obvious/minor. Tell ya what,......it does it again,....I'll take it off your hands for 2 C-notes. LOL........jk.
I'm sure you'll find out what happened. Could be something as simple as just that round that jammed ya was out of spec. Ken in Pa.
