Need some help w/tantal dimensions

1) Will a tantal gas tube interface with a standard AKM 762 gas block?

2) Will a 762 AKM gas piston work in a tantal gas tube?

3) Will a tantal hand guard retainer fit a Romy 762 profile barrel?

Thinking of doing a 762 Beryl type build.

I tried to post this when you first asked the Q, but was knocked off the site for some reason.

Any way to your Q's.
1 = Yes! But the end of the Tantal gas tube will not fit in the sight block. I tried a Tantal tube with an SA 87 (a Hungarian pre-pre-ban under folder ), a Rommy G and a Yugo M70AB rifle. But since the end of the tube could be squeezed a little it might help it stay in some what.

2 = Yes. It's the same length as a SA 87 or Rommy G, but too short for use on a Yugo M 70AB. The internal diamiter is the same.

3 = Yes and No with out a little work. The retainer will go over the Rommy G barrel till you get to the mounting position. There the Rommy G barrel is just a hair and a half too big. Here's where the little work comes in. A = lath or use a strip of sand paper on the barrel at the point till the retainer fits. Or B = [ and this is what I would do ] take one of those Dremel sanding drum attachments and just open up the hole the barrel goes in just a tiny bit.
