I have a guys that wants to buy about $750+ from me on the marketplace. But he joined today. Says he can't post an I'll take it. And wants me to email him for payment etc.

His username is gesillc. What gives?

Is it true you have to post a certain number of times to be able to post in the marketplace forum or something? How do you prove your human?

The guy wanted to buy three parts kits. But didn't post an I'll take it. And said that he couldn't post. He then emailed me a few days later. After not responding to my private message. Two of the kits had been sold. As I wasn't going to hold onto them for someone that had not posted an I'll take it. Or returned a private message.

Anyone can post in Marketplace as soon as their membership is confirmed.

It's more a case of it being pretty obvious which member applications AREN'T from humans. :wink_smal

Good to know! It seemed pretty fishy that he didn't post an I'll take it. Or even any post in the thread. Like he just didn't know that he had to say I'll take it.

It's strange to me that it could be not human as he specifically asked for certain kit numbers. In the private messages and via email. It didn't read like a form response or anything.
