View Thread: M92 Stock Option ACE folder or Triangle Krink
Pisces
I've narrowed down the possible stocks for my M92 kit, and it will be either a bulgarian triangle type sidefolder, or the ACE sidefolder like alot of people use on saiga conversions. Anyone have any experience with these two? Thanks, Kyle.

triangle but only if you can get ahold of a correct one not that mounting block abortion.

not much more than the Ace folder actually.
nodak has the correct receiver for $105

Seems a shame to derss up a krink in either of those stock choices. The originals work fine. Your rifle., your choice. Likely devalue the rifle a good bit IMHO.
The M92 trunnion will need to be drilled for the Bulgy triangle latch pivot pin. Might need to check for clearance for the latch mechanism between the receiver and the front trunion. Probably would be OK. Good Luck.

Dont be afraid to experiment. Im working on a m95 with a Polish beryl rear trunnion, beryl folding stock, and beryl rail setup all built on a modified NDS7. Multuiple blasphemes being committed LOL. but the end result will be well worth it.

I think either would be nice. I did the ACE on mine, but the triangle would be nice too.

the bulgy folder is way cool on the m-92 you will have to relieve about a .100
from the bottom of front trunnion for the latch. because it thicker than a bulgarian. as far as losing value i think the yugos krinks are losing popularity according to the selling prices i have been seeing lately. i believe a triangle folder would actually help the value

Either looks great i stuck with the original UF and love it.
I do not believe Yugo's are losing value, I see it as disposable cash has tightened. My Krink total M92 on a NDS w/STAMP 1125.00 and I built it my self. That's a lot of coin. even with out the stamp to build one to 922r compliance your in it for the 1000.00 (DIY) bucks after compliance parts and the fake can. Hard for some to justify it when the bulgy kits were 250.00. I love the Yugo and almost any other variant of the AK. I think it is cash flow more then popularity. IMHO

I would agree. All AK prices are down and not related to M92 popularity..
Generally a milspec rifle modified from original configuration will sell for less than an original (or as close as one can come). Exception being a Tabuk, Khyber Pass or other specialty built clone of some type. Adding the $220 Bulgy triangle just jacks up the build price that much more and lowers resale.
But whatever floats your boat.

different strokes for sure. but it does seem to me that the yugo's stay for sell longer than the bulgy's from what i've been seeing

The Bulgy goes faster I believe because of the 8" barrel and the 5.45 chamber. It is the real deal when it comes to krinks. Most AK collectors consider the Yugo to be a SBR not a real Krinkov. Because it is not chambered in a 5.45 and it does not have the same parts as a USSR AK74U or Bulgarian AK74U. The AK74U from USSR and Bulgaria were only available in 5.45x39. Since both countries do not make either anymore it is more collectible. The Yugo's are still made in there 556 and 762 variants. I have both and love them. the Yugo is more accurate then the Bulgy, the bulgy is thinner and shorter and lighter. I love both of mine.
