Can some one measure their rail reliefs (where the bolt gets installed/removed) so I can cut them into my blank? The blueprints don't show much of anything and I don't want to ruin a perfectly good bent blank.

If no one else does first, I'll measure mine this evening for ya.

I appreciate it, I need to know how far forward the cut is and how long it is.

got my calipers in hand so I won't forget to take em home. :)

I think the bolt carrier opening is easy. That's just the distance from the rear trunnion forward the length of the bottom of the bolt carrier. That's also the full rail width. I think he needs the forward notch for the bolt (head) to clear the upper rails. The width (of the rail) and distance from the rear trunnion and the length of the notch. I think only one side needs to be notched but many have both left and right rails notched to clear the bolt.

Thanks guys, that is the notch I was looking for, just one question because my kit is different (home build) the rear most point you are measuring from is the part of the trunnion that sticks up the highest when installed correct?
