Long time no see. I was here a few years ago while putting a Tantal togeather. That was gonn'a be the only AK I would own but now I inherited a Norinco AK47. B**hole stock with a tab welded to the rear under folder trunion holding it on. Takes double stack mags, has a sleave tack welded on the end of the barrel instead of a slant brake. Receiver has a big star with Norinco in it and Made in China. The rear trunion is an underfolder with notches on both sides,and the rec. has the demples and holes covered with riveted filler plates.
Should I get rid of the Ban crap,install a bag of US parts to make uncle sam happy,underfolder stock,hope the barrel end has threads for a brake or leave it as is 'cause of the expense and legal B.S.??It's never been fired but I'm fix'n to"cure" that. ;)
Made a road trip to my folks place to round up all the guns and it was in a duffle bag full of goodies.Was hoping it was a Polytech to match the Poly M14 in the bag, but never look a gift horse in the mouth! Ah,Dad liked to be prepaired to head for the hills. LOL!!
