Anyone know any websites? I know DPH had them but I checked today and there sold out. The gas piston is a gimme when it comes to US parts and I'm coming up a bit short on the AMD65 I wanna build......

Any companies make US made wood grips for the AMD's?

Ironwood makes US made copies of the Hungarian pistol grips.

A set of 2 isn't listed on the site, but you could try emailing Matt.

Yeah, I checked his website. He's got the Hungarian pistol grips. Problem is, could each pistol grip on an AMD-65 count as a US part? If so i'd buy 2 of his and us em' as 2 parts. My sixth sense tells me the PG counts only as 1, no matter how many pistol grips you have on a rifle

the forward grip is considered part of the hanguard so you would have to replace the HG for it to count

Yeah figured, I guess I'll have to find a US AMD65 gas piston. So far I've figured out 5 parts, if I find the US gas piston that should get me to where I want to be........

1- Receiver
1- US wood PG
3- FCG(Texas AK Triggers-the best)
1- US made AMD65 Gas Piston??????

Anyone, please if you find the US AMD gas pistons, please let me know!!!!

It looks like Copes has them:

http://www.copesdistributing.net/product_info.php?products_id=404

They also have the US made beech pistol grips for ~$25 each (not a pair, just a single):
