Additions of worth to a Yuko M70

I just bought a Yugo M70 Underfolder and would like to make some simple modifications and was curious if anyone had used a Ultimak Forward Optic Mount for Yugo M70 Series AKs ? I was thinking of mounting a Burris FastFire Red-Dot Reflex Sight ( 4 MOA Dot Reticle) since I can no longer find the Larue Tactical AK-Irondot setup they were selling earlier this year. I am pretty sure there isn't many mods for this gun and I don't want to buy utg because all I have heard is horror stores.

Question Knall I already have the grenade launcher barrel and also a bayonet. But where can you get the practice grenades? I saw someone listing them in a past forum but it was deleted they weren't live obviously. Also can you shoot bullets while the launcher barrel is attached? I know that is a noob question but not familiar with the ak-47 very well. thanks

I'm pretty sure you need grenade launching blanks.

Ultimak, Aimpoint Micro, flash hider (I use the phantom), and trigger retaining plate. Shoot me light if that's your thing. Also change out the pistol grip if you want, although I do like the Yugo grips more than the standard pattern.

Finally got out to the range and I have to say I really like this gun. Still working on zeroing it in but it shoots great didn't feel the recoil too bad. I need to change out the lower and upper handguard since it is tapco and man does it get hot. I actually like the sights on this gun and probably won't get an aimpoint or eotech just because they are way to expensive. I am considering rails though kvar or ultimak with a foregrip. I am thinking of getting several bulgarian poly mags since I really liked that better then the steel ones though I may get the yugo ones with the bolt open design. Other then that I am pretty happy over with this gun.

I'm going to switch out my Tapco 3 sided forgrip on my Norinco to a Midwest Industries 4 sided aluminum one. That way I can take the EOTech 512 off of the receiver cover, mount the vertical grip on the bottom, a flashlight on one side and the laser on the other, and have nothing mounted to the barrel.

All you need. I now have a CAA grip on it, world of difference for my large hands.

Grenades are hard to come by, check out your local show, we have a guy that usually has one or two.

with the launcher you can shoot live rounds though it (but for the love of god dont put anything on the end when doing so). but if your using corrosive ammo it is a b***h to clean.
