:rofl_smal I've had been toying with the idea of buying a Vector RPD,Some of my friends have them. But the way it looks, there RPDs just might end up closet/safe Queens. They have yet to shoot them.I suggested they buy 2,shoot one and smile at the other. So here were I'am at.I had them order one for me now.The only problem I have "is that I would like to know how they function".Are there any feed problems, miss fires ect.As I know a few of you guys on this forum own them-what is your opintion of this "little bear"In there normal state, they can really push out the rds.to the point that the hand guards got hot(too hot). Now I have to wait until mine comes in,which will be about a 5 or less wks wait I've been told by my 2 dealer friends.I also have a near new Russian parts kits, all matching, that I would like to have made into a nice simi rifle.Who else out there makes these or the receivers, besides Vector and Historical Arms.I seen both models by both the mentioned Co.For me its the Vector, its about as dead on as could be,the only thing that I may do over is the take down push pin. That lock clip is not for me.I will try and get that changed to the way the "real ones" work. But I have yet to see ether one smokeing on the business end of the tube.So you guys and girls out there, fill this old dog in on how it functions,Now on to serious words for you all-Have a safe and Happy Easter-my best to all-Frenchy :wink_smal

these will feed and shoot great! you aren't dealing with a hack compnay like hesse/vuclan........VECTOR makes all their firearms a first class build, so have no fear about yours. on mine the entire barrel assy. is brand new, all the other parts, bolt etc... are in like new or in excellent condition.

yeah I looked at the pictures of a historical arms one at gunbroker......and it is a pretty sorry built one, the trigger housing looks pretty sorry, and the receiver looks like shit.......and the finish of the metal is pretty sad.....they didn't even bother to even make the furniture look decent......for 4 grand they are a joke.
