View Thread: WTH!? The top handguard on my PSL split during shooting

Yep.... split right down the middle. I am guessing it got too hot. Has this happened to anyone?
Great, i dont know whether to hunt down a new chunk of wood or try and repair this one.
Slick
Hit it with some "JB Weld" epoxy and swipe the seam (so nothing shows). You'll be done with it and it'll NEVER break in the same place again.
If your gun ran perfect (aside from the broken hand guard), go get a bottle of your favorite liquor and celebrate – because you should be happy.
So how’d it shoot otherwise?

Actually it is a very common problem.

shoots great.
i ran 3 types of ammo through it yesterday. the hungarian is ok, the czech silvertip (got 17 rounds left!) & copperwashed czech runs the best. The bulgarian light ball that i was bitching about in another thread sux ass.

thanks. matching up the stain on a new one to the color on my other one is going to be a pain in the ass.
