Bore snake for AK74?

Would a bore snake made for .22 caliber be okay to use in a 5.45x39 bore, or would it be slightly too big?

I can't imagine that a bore snake made for .223 (5.56x45) wouldn't work in a 5.45x39 bore. You're only talking a thousandth or two difference, and bore snakes like the Hoppes are mainly cloth/fiber and should compress to at least that degree. I doubt anyone will ever make a bore snake specifically for 5.45x39 because the .223 snakes should work quite readily.

.22 will work fine based on personal experience
