Looking for the Romy handguard for underfolder.

Hey,

Where can I get a romanian lower handguard that is made for an underfolding stock. Its curves back towards the shooter.

Is anyone making new ones?

K-var.com has a hard wood lower hand gurad for sale. I just picked one up. It has the dimmpels on the side. It didnt say in the comments when buying the guard if it was for a underfolding stock or a normal stock.

It states there for the Romy it was $17.00.

The one you are looking for is often referrd to as the 'reverse dong'. Seriously.

It was issued on the Romanian underfolding AKM-copy called PM md. 65, often referred to as the AIMS [export version]. The standard forward-sloping Romanian pistol grip from the Romanian G-model, PM md.63 [AIM] and PM md. 90 [AIMS-sidefolder] will fit to your rifle, but it will not allow the stock to be folded.

I don't think any of the vendors have them. Your only hope is the market place. They pop up from time to time. Might want try a WTB add. Times are tough, people are starting to sell lots of things to stay afloat. Happy hunting.
