News footage from Afghanistan

Towards the end of the video, after they interview the "young taliban" there is some footage of an attack on a truck convoy. There appears to be a Dragunov rifle with a straight magazine and barrel-mounted bipod. The magazine looks awfully like it's for a .308 NDM-86.

Anyone else see this or is it an optical illusion due to the angle of the camera?

I have heard of, though never seen, .308 and 8MM versions of the PSL style rifle.

Is it possible that what you saw might have been a Yugo M76? I believe it has a straight magazine as well. At least it looked like one to me.

I came across a psl in .308 about a year ago at a show. Price was $1600.
