about 1200 or whatever dealer price is at Century for the yugo and 1400 for the valmet hunter....
would you do it if you had the money???
SGT. MAC
You have to see who makes the receiver for the M76. Stay away from the ORF receiver. If it is the Patterson, AZ receiver you are good. I would go for the Valmet personnally.

I've been redirected towards a CNCarms 7.62x25 AR upper instead of the m-76... the yugo'll have to wait....

$1,400 is way too high if the Valmet Hunter doesn't have a couple of 20 round magazines with it. No one wants the Hunter model these days.
That's the normal asking price, but you'll be lucky to get $850 when you try and sell it. They use Valmet 76 mags which are nowhere to be found. If you do locate any, they will be north of $250 each.
I tried to sell a Hunter in .243 a few years ago, mint in the box. After having it for sale for about year, ended up giving it away for $650. Don't waste your money.
