Massive drug abuse or optimism?

Just looked on Gunbroker for AK kits. Some are very reasonable, but a bunch show that the seller is doing way serious drugs or a member of the blind optimism club.
Seems the price wave crested about 2 months ago and has started to subside.
From what I see, the kits were going for around $100 years ago and peaked at $4-600 depending on the desirability of the model.
Just an observation...

Romy AK74 bayos are pretty scrace and can demand some high dollar. That is not a Romy AKM bayo.

Romanian bayonets are not rare at all. In fact they are about as common as the East German bayonets. The one in the ad looks like a Russian bayonet in a Romanian sheath, if that arrow in the triangle has fletching on it. Still not worth anywhere near the price.

Gunbroker has been outrageous for months now, even by panic standards. The best chance you have of getting a good deal is checking frequently and waiting to see if someone posts a buy now option at a bargain price.

Did you see the two Bulgy Krink kits he's trying to sell for $5000!!!! They've been on there for almost a year. Yeah there matching, consecutive#'s great, but this guy is ridiculous. I check his auctions every once in awhile, he's had things on there for months, even years. I really think he should give up......

Yea that dudes nutz. I always stumble on his auctions by accident, his prices have been that bad for years now.

YOU CAN USUALLY PICK OUT HIS AUCTIONS BY JUST HIS ALL CAP TITLES, WHICH IS ALSO AGAINST GUNBROKER LISTING RULES.

DOUCHE BAGZ RARELY GIT OVERIT.... The world has no shortage of these guys. I think most of them staff the table at gunshows in New York!
