Well I think I got a couple of decent loads worked up for my Saiga. I was very pleased with the face that there was not a brand (and I tried about 5 of them) that this rifle wouldn't feed, fire or eject. This rifle just eats them up. Even with the Bear and Wolf brands, they would stay in the 10 ring of SR-1 target... I had a Bushnell red dot sight for the milsurp stuff and a Burris Fullfield II 4.5-14x 42mm Scope for the handloads. I got acceptable groups with 55gr and 60gr bullets. The load recipies were:
LC brass
Win small rifle primers
21.6 gr IMR 3031 (for 60gr FBHP)
22.0 gr IMR-3031 (for 55gr BTSP)
Mag fit/ full length sized.
Yep, It's a keeper.........
