Yeah it's bulgy. My rifle loads this stuff pretty well. But, it shoots kinda sloppy. I get 3 or four inch groups at 60 yards. I find Russian to be a bit more accurate. But I have read that PSLs all operate a bit differently.... Ted that is a great deal!!! Thanks for the heads up.

Bulgy, the "10" gives it away.

Should be 149 grain.I have had good results with the Bulgarian although the Bulgarian ammo I am shooting right now was manufactured in 1953.Have not had any issues with it.Does shoot a little bigger groups than the Hungarian and Polish I have.I have a case of the newer Bulgarian but have not cracked it open yet.Have a case of Russian also but it is unopened as well.td

PS for about $15 more than the Bugarian you can get some Russian ammo

For about $15 more than the Russian you can get Hungarian:)

Below is from Sportsmans Guide shipping policy on ammo shipped to Alaska and Hawaii-

Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico - add $10 onto standard delivery charges. For Alaska and Hawaii, there's no additional charge on merchandise orders of $100 or more. All orders will receive 3-7 day expedited delivery service at no additional cost.

I take what it says above as to mean when you order over $100 worth of stuff there is no added charge above there flat rate shipping.I would give them a call or email(info below) and ask about shipping to Hawaii and any additional charges,td

I don't want to sound like a jerk but I think that info is wrong. :( I live in Hawaii too and VERY few companies will ship ammo here even though its legal. That quoted message about shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico is to deal with the cost of shipping AIR since you can't use any form of Ground services.

Heres the link to the ammo again but...in the "WARNING" box it lists Hawaii (HI) as a restricted state.
http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/440-rds-762x54r-147-gr-fmj-ammo-1-tin.aspx?a=555116

WARNING: Ammunition cannot be shipped to Marin, Napa, Ventura and Yolo counties, CA; Los Angeles, Oakland, Sacramento and San Francisco, CA; HI; Chicago, IL; New York City; D.C.; MA; Canada or Puerto Rico. Ammunition cannot be shipped Parcel Post. If shipping to IA, must be 21. Please check your State, County and City laws for restrictions before ordering Ammunition.

Out of 40+ websites I checked only 2 are willing to ship to Hawaii. Some sellers on Gunbroker will if you check with them.

But in order for ammo to be shipped to Hawaii, it HAS TO GO THRU UPS 2ND DAY AIR. There is also the Haz-Mat fee (around $30). I quoted a box of Czech 7.62x54R in the 800-round box which weighed 55lbs, shipping cost for 2nd Day Air is $231.64. FedEx and USPS won't ship ammo.

i've done quiet alot of business with SG... their buyers club was nice, esp. when making large purchases - they are broken down into 4 payments. I just picked up an EOTECH from them so, i need to wait till thats paid off to get more ammo.
