Man I can't quit tonight!! I came across this pic I didn't know the POSP would fit on a M76. I thought you had to lower the optics rail.

Anyone know anything about this? I'm thinking this may be the next rifle. :wink_smal and while it sounds like the OEM scope is fine, I like the POSP up there MO BETTA :D

I haven't seen a M76 in person but it looks like the rail is not mounted as high as they are on the Yugo AKs

Same here.. I'd not planned on getting one (due to the much higher cost), but the surplus ammo is still around and I think will be for quite some time. But I'm starting to think I "need" one of these too. :uhoh_smal

Well I just measured both my M76 and my PSL and the rails are the same height. The M76 mount is .028" narrower but it doesn't prevent the posp from latching in and getting a good bite.

I highly recommend the M76. I find myself shooting it more often than my PSL I think mainly because Im a handloader and there is a much larger selection of .323 bullets.

Hm, I have an M76 mount and it is a good bit larger than my PSL rail, won't get a bite on it at all. Was thinking of shimming it or something but haven't quite figured out how to do so yet.

Thanks, I handload too - so that was one of my exact thoughts. I just picked a Marlin 1895 SBL last month, and blew a good chunk of change this month to mount an Aimpoint Comp ML3 (2 moa dot) in a LaRue QD mount... So, I'm going to have some time to think about it while I scrape together some cash.
