Who installs match grade barrels on PSL's I would really like to have a Shilan barrel in the 7.62x54R put on my PSL.
I know that it may not be the most cost effective way to go about things, but I really love the gun.

If you can find a match grade heavy barrel, I want one, too. I'll do the install myself.

I have NO idea if they could help you with this - but TGI ->

built many PSL's (as "FPK's") and they may have the tools and desire to take on such a job. Good luck with it.

Have Shilan build you one. It will run you about $400 + or -

a heavy barrel might be a TON of work! you gotta resize the gas block, guard retainers and front sight!!!! good luck though. these are the kind of questions that keep me up at night.

Still looking. That lead did not pan out.
As for reworking the gas system, I have a small milling machine and can build the gas block parts myself.
I am not comfortable with installing a barrel on these yet. I hope to get the chance to learn eventually, but fopr now am content to pay some one else who knows what they are doing.

Bummer... Try asking Mark at Arizona Response Systems ->

I've not had any work done by him, but he's got a lot of happy customers and his focus is towards military surplus rifles. I've read enough of his thoughts and opinions (on the Files forums) + recommendations posted by others and would trust him with any work that I needed.
