View Thread: Yugo M92 underfolding stock removal

I need to remove the folding stock from the rear trunion/demilled receiver piece. Besides drilling out the rivets, what else do I need to do? I see a small retaining pin on the main pivot shaft - does that need to come out to get the whole thing appart??
The more details the better.

That was exactly what I was looking for. Mucho Gracias!!
Looks like that one pin I mentioned might be a bugger to get out. Apparently need to drill it out from the bottom of the receiver. Whew. They don't make it easy.
Thanks again,
John W.

As it turns out on the original receiver part there are three holes on the bottom to get to the pins - they came out with no prob. I'm guessing those holes might not exist on the home grown receivers?

The M92 flat from AK builder has it and the NODAK does as well

All the underfolder flats I've seen for the last 6 years or so have the holes.
Glad we could be of help.

Once you have taken the AK underfolder mechanism apart, it make sense as to how to reinstall it; just don't grow impatient or lose any of the three little pins. The holes are there because they knew someone would have to take the mechanism apart for repair/replacement!
