Kobra Battery Leak!!!

The AA batteries leaked in my Kobra. It still works but I need to clean out the white stuff.

What is recomended to clean this out. I want to use baking soda but there must be something better. It seems like years ago I had something called 'electrical terminal cleaner'.

Goto auto parts store, get "battery cleaner" follow up with compressed air in lue of water.
