Does anybody know if the slide from a 1944 Russian tt-33 would fit and work on a Romy TTC? I picked up the Romy on Gunbroker, and have a line on getting the WWII Russian slide. I figure that, a set of CCCP grip panels, and removing/filling that stupid trigger safety would give me a decent looking WWII tt-33 clone to go with my Mosin PU sniper clone, but only if the slides will swap between the two.
