parts kit Q

This is my first build and I want to make sure everything is legal. I ordered the Bulgarian AK74 parts kit(synthetic furniture) from apexgunparts. Are there markings on the US made compliance parts stating it is, or are these kits sold with US made compliance parts. Thanks for the help.

Normally, unless you get a "package deal" the parts kits come with all imported parts and you must purchase enough US made parts yourself to legally assemble it. However, the Apex kits do come with a US made bbl since the original was destroyed before import. That's one US part there, the receiver will make 2. 4 more and you are legal, the most common parts replaced would be the trigger group (3) and the gas piston.

Some US made parts are marked, some are not. The law does not specify marking is required.
