shortening the barrel

My PSL is the standard 54-C...any recommended barrel lengths if I choose to have it cut and recrowned (would keep the muzzle brake still)? I was thinking 20 or 22" but didn't know if someone had realized what the best length for the cartridge was to [potentially] increase accuracy and ease of manuevering while not decreasing velocity too much....

Some members have shortened it to 20". If you shorten it to 16" you'll have to cut-down the gas tube to accomodate the shorter barrel, like the Paratrooper models.
