Those pellet rifles have been around sibce the mid 1980's. Navy Arms sold them. Still produced today. They are pretty nice and fairly accurate. .177 calibre at about 600 FPS. I have a couple and they are nice.

Yea it does look like the 81 from the rear sight to the folding butt-stock even the rivet for the stock are the same.

At first glance I thought it looked like the type 56 2 below.

I got mine in today. The rifle is just about as heavy as a regular AK with an empty mag in it.
