Went to the range yesterday to fire my new M/N and the results were a little confusing to say the least. Fired the first 5 rounds at 25m and the group looked pretty good, about 1.5" dead center 2" above the X. Set the rifle aside and shot some .22 with my son while it cooled down. Next session was a little over 100m, probably about 110m, and with the sights set for 100, it shot under the target. Raised the sights to 200, and it hit at the top of the target stand about 8" from the X. Moved the target back to around 75m and I'll be damned if it didn't group about 3" right around the X with the sights on 100. All these shots were from a sandbag rest. Wonder if the sights were calibrated for light ball, as I was shooting heavy ball.
