Picked up a nice matching post war refurbed 1942 91/30. Now to catch my mother at home and get my 1939 Tula and 1944 Izzy M44 out of my safe to keep it company.
Anyone know of an affordable place to pick up the sling and cleaning kits?
I'll post pix after I get back from Lowes this evening.

Very nice Cerberus! All the other gear and medals is very cool. Where did you come across the coat? I've found that Russian surplus clothing is hard to find.

Mosinutty, I made the waist belt, the canteen and overcoat is modern, all the other stuff is GIN-U-WINE WW2 surplus. I got most of the stuff from an old freind of mine years ago when it was somewhat common. I have 4 different colors of original canteen carriers, 2 types of shovel covers, 3 different types of ammo pouches (1 set WW2 leather, 1 set early pleather and 1 set of the common style pleather. Even have a Ruskii IDed partisan used Mauser ammo pouch. Also have a WW2 Russian backpack around here somewhere.
