UPO-2-1 scope

Do any of you guys have experience with the belarussian UPO-2-1? It seems like a commercial version of the russian 1P29.

seems highly priced for what it is, i cant find it anywhere else. I stumbled upon it while searching for PK-AS red dots.

Found the same site yesterday.They appear to be down right now. Found some trilux scopes too, either Israeli or Biritish (I'm not sure), that supposedly can be mounted on an AK. They look very similar in outward appearance to the UPO-2-1. Not sure if the reticle is the same for both, but I sure would like to know more about these scopes as well....

i was tracking a real russian 1p29 on ebay but it got sniped out from under me in the last 5 seconds!

Anyways, i bet you are speaking of the fal's SUIT trilux scope. Ive not heard that they fit AK's but thats interesting.

Yes, the SUIT unit is the one I am talking about. What A Country has them for sale and claim they have a AK specific mount, and all you need do is merely request it when you order one of the scopes. However, they have no pics of that mount on their web site and I can't actually determine if such a mount exists for the AK. If it does I would assume it's a Weaver type mount, but I would want something that actually will work with the AK's optic rail.

Just out of curiosity, how much did the 1p29 sell for?

it started at 299.00 and shot up to 450.

I put my bid in at $400. tbh, i dont think they were are really worth more than that, even though ppl are asking ridiculous prices (750-800) for them. They are quite rare and collectors items, but i think the NPSU night vision is way neater, and i payed 200 shipped for mine!
