M 5 x 0.8 lens head V neck fillister.
The home depot ones in my area are flat head and soft, sheared under manual torque. the ones I got from ACE were stainless and worked better, but I have found none from a commercial source that were all three - v neck, fillister, lense head. So I get the philips and weld in the head and recut the slot - or just use the phillips head.

thanks mark,so to be clear they are a slotted head meaning lense,v necked and what doe the fillister mean, thanks

fillister head means "slotted," Phillips head is the "+" and Torx head is the star.
flat is well, flat.
Lens means a curve that is less than a half circle, like a half a cats eye.
Full half circle would be called a dome head.
The DDR specifications show only the slightest of a V-neck (fore of a stress relief radius) , but the DDR screws I have share the same funnel shape as the wood screws.
If you want, you can drill a hole in the bottom of the screw, and smack it with a staking tool to slightly flare the bottom (rear should be flush), otherwise use locktite.

no - sorry - too much labor involved to make them for resale - would be $35/set. My goal is to find that screw already made and cut to length, but in the last couple years I haven't found any that have all three traits of the original. Just get the lens head phillips or the flat head fillister for $0.35 at ACE Hardware or True Value Hardware.

aka..., slot, flat machine screw.
Most fastener companies handle these screws. Not uncommon.
