Recoil This Weenies

Yesterday we had our Annual Youth Day at out club. I usually run the Hi Power Stage of the Youth Day and along with Steve my buddy we take the Kids after they go from .22's to the .30 Cal Carbine and let them try out The Grand if they want. Here are a few Pics of a 62 Lb. 9 Year Old showing you how to "Suck It Up Boys" Angie shot 4 rounds and at the end came back to ask "May I Shoot The Grand Again". Great post and pics. I work the annual youth day at a West Texas ranch teaching black powder rifle. It's great to see the kids really get into it. They love the big clouds of smoke and the smell of the powder. When we roll the cannon out, they really go nuts!

I take my boys out once in a while on the back 40, and they both have a semi-auto .22. They like the sks a little better and I've never seen my 13 year old happier than with a full mag and the AK. Kids should not be sheltered from guns....saftey, yes, respect, yes,...but they should be comfortable around them IMO. Great pics BTW!!!

my 2 year old just says "hebby" as in heavy, when he's got a hold of the Mosin or SKS. Gotta start strength buildin... :P

for crying out loud get that poor child a mosin-nagant to play with or even better a nice little AK in .223 would brighten her day.
