View Thread: Please help with Russian scope
kanscheapskate
I got a commercial scope that says made in Belarus and 4x24B and NocN in Cyrilc and a lot of other Russian looking writing. How do I know if its cammed for the 74 or 47? Can I change this? I want to use it on a 74. I am new to scopes and couldn't find a good website on Russian stuff. Can anyone help? Thanks

Thanks, this looks like it only a different color-mine is kinda a speckled gray. I bought a rail for it but its going to take a lot of filing to make it fit. So the calibur dif that this cam deal is about is on the mount? I figured it was internal, like I said, I am not a hunter so I know nothing of scopes. Thanks

Adjust the throw lever DO NOT file unless absolutely necessary. The instructions are on Kalinkas website.

I think I got to file, it will not even start to slide over the dovetail, if I ever got it to the point of using the lever I would have to use a hammer to knock it back off.

Belarus is not Russia 8-/

Belarus is not Russia 8-/ Well, It has a sticker that says Made In Russia so that is where I got that, I am the second owner. I ordered a rail from Centerfire and it will slide on but it takes both hands and a lof of grunting, not fast or easy by any means. You can see scraping on the finnish from the rail. Thanks
