Ak Shooter.......How do you know that you are getting 4 plum Soviet mags? I thought it was a mixed bag take what we give you type of situation?

I called and asked them if I could have a choice. They said
I could choose plum, brown or black.

Yup, plum every time. Not sure why that is, just that when given a choice, I inevitably order the plum. Also, Copes has a deal on two Russian plum mags in a pouch for $49.99 going as well. Of the two I received, one was an excellent minty plum with silver markings. The other is...curious. It's a plum that some Russian soldier decided to mark up in various ways by scratching on the mag body in cyrillic (with a big "X" on the other side, which I'm hoping does not translate to "this crap magazine has nearly gotten me killed for the last time" or something similar; Perhaps "Afghanistan sucks" in cyrillic?). Oh, and the main snap on the pouch is missing.

received the plums, very nice, just lightly used!

Copes has some as well I think. I ordered 2 from AIM, didn't specify color, will report on fit/finish.
