Hey all, first post here at AK files. I've been looking into a krink build and I've got a few questions, mostly preference-related things I guess you could say. I've already looked into the SBR paperwork.
1) What are the major differences between Bulgy and Yugo krinks and parts kits? Are there any major differences? Parts commonality issues? I've noticed a few things like the hinged portion of the rear sights look like they are constructed differently. Are there any particular advantages of one over the other? Quality differences?
2) What is your preference for the caliber of a krink? The one I plan on building will be semi, and I don't really have a "tactical mindset" for this gun. Maybe just a plinker, home defense as a last option. I'd like it to be somewhat effective as a man-stopper if I have to, for some crazy reason, defend my home with it rather than my pistol. I've seen some .223 versions, but I've heard that the .223 mags out there aren't too reliable.
3) Opinions on underfolding vs. triangle stocks? I've handled a few underfolders and found them to be a little uncomfortable, so I'm leaning a little towards the triangle, which I don't expect to be that much more comfortable, maybe a little less annoying to open and close.
Any responses will be greatly appreciated!!
