Yea, I had an old web page I was orderin from for a LONG TIME, they finaly figured it out.

This is a pretty good deal right now. especialy if you use a coupon ect.

I posted mention of an SG deal on the Wolf HP a while back and drew a lot of flack from folks who said that 7.62x39 HP ammo does not feed reliably in many AKs or SKSes. Just thought I'd mention it.

I never said anything about the price. they just called (left message) me saying "Hello, this is the Sportsmans guide, we need to inform you that we need to charge 78$ for shipping on your 185lb order. Please call us if you would still like to place the order, until then we will not charge your card."

I called them and said, "I have never been charged more than 20$ on shipping before."

she said "well we have been honoring it, but we are having to charge for shipping now on the heavy orders, otherwise we lose money on the order for that ammo."

I said , "Well, cancel my order please"

Copes has added "Ulyanovsk" Russian manufactured 7.62x39 for $249.99 plus shipping. I know nothing whatever about this particular manufacturer at present.

Their (Copes') description:

ive shot about 500 rounds of Ulyanovsk hp ammo that was under the "sapsan" brand name, it goes bang every time

I just got an e-mail from SG and they cancelled my order of 7.62x39. On the bright side I noticed Centerfire has 1000 rounds of Wolf for $249 before shipping. I did not really excpect them to honor the deal but it is still a let down. They said the suppplier cancelled the order and they would not be able to sell.

my order got cancelled as well.... RATS! it looks like they caught on to the old ad, it doesnt come up anymore and the other "new" ad shows its still in stock.... LIARS!!

Haven't received a cancellation yet, but I only ordered 500 rds. Maybe they will honor that order, but I doubt it.

Sounds like BS to me. I was expecting some too. Are distributers paying more these days too, or just screwing us over? I know the whole supply and demand topic though.
