Anyone use Ultimak scout scope combo

Thinking about getting a setup like this for my 74, any one have any personal experiences and or recommendations of optics to use?

I have the Ultimak top handguard mount on my AMD-65. It is rock steady on has held zero perfectly. I use a Sightron S33 red dot on it. It's a real nice scope for a relatively decent price ($200). Another nice red dot is the Bushnell HOLO Sight Gen II ($270). I have one on an AR and I like that a lot as well. It has the same reticle as the Eotech sights... 65 MOA circle w/ 1 MOA dot.

I have considered the red dot, but I was thinking more along the lines of a low power pistol or scout scope. Any one else use scout scopes?

I have the ultimak front end treatment on mine and it works perfect. I have
a cheap simmons red dot on it now that lets me co witness through it with
the irons, in the past it had a 2x7 burris long eye relief scope on it. Rock Solid
and it free floats between the ends so no more gas tube pressure on the barrel
as it heats up.
