Galil Build Thread

Alright, need some help. Reading through some of the entertainment of old threads trying to brush up on the ORF Galil debacle.

Todd claims that he has posted explicit instructions on how to properly build a Galil. However I cannot find them anywhere.

Can I get some help?

By the way, since this is how ORF "builds" a factory gun, I suspect the cockroach's directions to be equally useless.

Chances are i'll still have a useless hunk of steel after words.

Thing is, I have a Galil built following his instructions. As you know he blames the problems on the builders. So... for my argument I want to have backing that his instructions don't work.

but his instructions won't include how to hack and grind his receiver to get the factory parts to fit, not how to weld up, remachine, and harden his soft, out-of spec locking recesses, or his out of spec receiver bottom. Because despite hundreds of people across the country all making the same observations, he insists there is "nothing wrong with it".

Nevermind.

Hey Gun plumber why dont you go buy a couple of CNC's and really show ORF how to do it.

Gonna turn my own and want to double check a couple of the "correct" dimensions.

FAL GRUNT,
We talked about my orf welded galil. I found the "new" receiver that can't be used cause of wrong/poor heat treating and the welded early galil. The difference in trigger guard hole dimension is very obvious. The safety setup is back asswards. The safety shaft hole is wrong. I just re-upped my image shack and am charging the digital. If the macro works, hell, even if it doesn't, the differences are obvious. I hope to have you some pics later today.
It really torques me off because I wanted a ARM badly.
