View Thread: Deavis Tactical Slings Recommendation

A month or two back I bought two tactical slings from Deavis via the Marketplace. http://www.akfiles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=51740

I figured it was time to give some feedback to members.

I ordered the mash-style black tactical slings and they are the two-point style meaning they have two hooks like a standard sling. A few days later a professionally packed mailer arrived with the two slings. I was impressed as soon as I opened the packing. The stitching is very good and he's using heavy duty mash-hooks and other hardware plus he thought to include an elastic keeper to manage the loose sling that isn't used.

If you're looking for a strong sling for an AK, AR, FAL or whatever, take a look. I'm pretty sure they'd hold just about any small arm you have.

Here are some pics of my two (note the parachute cord is something I added to work around the M4 stock and front rail system. The regular AK with the Bulgarian furniture used the Deavis sling as-is):
