Back up rear sight for AR

What brand/flavor of flip up style back up sights are you guys using on your AR's? I dont want a cowitness style. I just want something reliable in case the battery powered optic pukes out. There are a dozen different brands and I know nothing about any of them. Thanks in advance.

Hey E-man have you given any thought to the A.R.M.S. 40L rear sight?
It is well made,sturdy, and has a low profile.

Old school, cut down A3 carry handle is what I use. Simple, works, and cost effective too.

I've used the GG&G back up sight for about 4 years. Works great and has a night sight peep option. I believe there are some knock offs of these made now but I can't testify as to the knock off's quality

I have a Yankee Hill, it works just fine, and is nicely priced. I also have a Troy I spent like 35.00 more on, but it's no better than the Yankee.

I have the Troy BUIS on both my AR's and they are top-notch. Others may come close, but I bought my Noveske N4 Light and LaRue Stealth SPR with the Troy's "branded" and never looked back.

Going "first class" really doesn't cost that much more when you consider that a premium rifle is a "lifetime investment" that will NEVER be sold. So yeah, I rolled over and paid the few extra bucks and while money is hard to come by - I have NO regrets. YMMV.

They're 53 buckas at shop I bought them at and they have done well so far.... Have them on SWAT SIG 556 because rail extends length of rifle site length so got fronts and backs... Originally made for AR, front makes them co witness for the SIG SWAT for mentioned reasons...
