This is "our" version of the Montana state bill that greatly limits Federal power and places it where our founding fathers intended it to be...with the indivdual States. Firearms manufactured in Texas will not be subject to Federal legislation, as long as they remain in Texas. Please contact your Texas State Representative and Senator ASAP. This bill absolutely MUST pass! Here is the information:

This is all well and good, but the Supreme Court always finds a way to circumvent the Constitution (in direct violation of their oath to "uphold and defend it). They have done it with several other decisions. All they have to do is say something like "even though the firearms and ammunition are manufactured in Texas and therefore do not affect commerce between the states, their sale DOES affect the national firearms market, a market involving billions of dollars each year, and are therefore subject to federal laws affecting interstate commerce in firearms." That's all she wrote. Of course, if a bunch of armed Texans (like a couple of hundred) surround the first few guys that BATF tries to arrest for any alleged violation, maybe the feds would piss off and start leaving the states alone. That's the only way to do it, folks! People are going to have to stand up to Uncle one day or things will never get back to how they were intended by the founders.
