View Thread: Sighting in a FPK

Shaokhano
I'm hoping someone here can help me. I have a LPS 4x6° TIP2 on my FPK, and I can't get it to zero when i set the two dials to zero it's off far to the right and extremely low. So I move the cross all the way to the right and the most it will come in is to 8, I bring the cross all the way up and its still shot's extremely high. I thinking I'm probably going to have to purchase a new scope and rail mount for me FPK, but I'm still new to this and I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.

The military rifles have the scopes serialized and matched to each rifle. Not all scope rails are parallel with the barrel. Some people shim the scope at it's mount. Others claim loosening the screws will allow enough adjustment whiles say not to loosen the center screws, only the outer two screws on each adjuster. This only allows for zeroing the scope settings not centering it or aligning it with the rifle if the rail is a bit off.

Here are some instructions if you don't have any.
