View Thread: Are POSP mount plates interchangable?

djpaintles
I have a POSP scope mounted on a PSL. I saw another POSP scope that I would like to try out but right now they only have it with the AK clamp mount.

The screw holes loose the same or very similar, Could I swap out the SVD plate from my earlier scope with the AK plate on the newer one?...............................................DJ

I ordered a Kalinka mount a few weeks ago and it was this one :
1. Product ID: AMSVDPOSPLPSMWCB
Product Name: POSP/PSO Low Profile SVD/SKS Centered Side Mount to Weaver Rail w/ Black Finish
Attributes (if any):
Price: $49.97
Quantity: 1

I couldn't find the actual unit on the web site anymore, but here is the right mount style.

I'm not sure, but the screw holes look the same to me. The mounting part is the SVD style that the tip2 scopes have, and fits nicely on a PSL. I had kalinka check the fit style before I bought it just to be sure, and this is what they recommended. If you need to buy the scope adapter just for the mounting part, I'll buy the top half from you if you don't need it to offset your costs.
