The new Tapco slant brake has two notches on it, either of which can fit in the locking pin on the barrel.

The idea is that it would be good for left-hand shooters too. While I see the logic in this, doesn’t the twist of the rifling have more to do with where the muzzle jumps? Still, it may not be a bad thing.
As it is, I don’t practice shooting my AK left-handed (I know, I should). If my right arm was injured, this may come in handy.

More gloss to fool the people.

The slant brake was designed to work when the gun was running "FULL AUTO".

Good deal. I shoot left handed and the current models do not work for me.

If you have shot some semi AKs without a slant break, you can definately feel the difference when you shoot one that does have one. For me at least, shot to shot recovery is much faster.
