Thanks for the info! Many range sessions with 50 and 100 yard targets seem to confirm impact elevations.

Just curious - Is there a set of data for BZO?

Instead of setting BSZ at a closer range than 100 meters the military method is set target at 100 meters and set sight on the rear most position which is the battle sight setting. It is the same height as the 300 meter setting. Sight in rifle so target impact is 25cm above point of aim at 100 meters. A rough conversion is set target at 100 yards and impact should be 9.8 inches high. I'm not sure how this better than using the 100 meter setting and impact the target on center but maybe it makes sure there's no error in setting the sights. Not as accurate but at 25 yards point of impact should be 2.1 inches above point of aim.
