Definitely check out Cope's.
Everything I've ever bought from them has been top notch, and their shipping not too bad.
My only problem is, right after I place an order, I find something else I shoulda bought there, too.

I got one of these from Copes a few weeks ago and was disappointed at the poor condition of the scabard and handle. The leather handle strap was holding together by a thread. Not sure if I just got a well used one or if they are all that way.

I got one of the Copes "used in good condition" Black Bulgarian AKM/AK-74 Type II bayonets for $19.99. The one I received is in nice condition and I am pleased with the purchase. It's been painted (they say that in the ad). What is it with the Bulgarians and "sanitizing" things with a can of black spray paint?

if it's bulgy paint it'll probably come off with alcohol or brake cleaner.

Also new production 45 round Bulgarian AK-74 mags for $35, KVAR NATO length stock sets for $59, AK-74 bulgarian bakelite bayonets for $15, etc. The server appears to be buried, so you may have to retry several times. I got a lot in the way of spare parts (east german bolt repair kits, etc) I had figured on getting eventually, but the price this weekend eclipses their prior pricing on a lot of stuff I was interested in. I was debating between the plum Warsaw length and the black NATO length stock sets myself. I need to replace the Tapco set that came on my Bulgarian. I finally decided on the black NATO length stock because I found the short length of the Warsaw length Tapco butt stock to be very irritating to me when trying to fire from a bench/seated (the way our outdoor range is set up, it's mainly what I do). Too bad the NATO length plum has been out of stock for a while now. (I am also looking forward to the KVAR stainless heat shielded handguards, and I found that the non-shielded Tapco handguards heated up in a hurry, even at a moderate rate of fire).

+1 on the thanks. I picked up a few goodies at K-var, including the OD green NATO length stock set. Didn`t think I`d go for green `till I saw a set installed. I like it... gonna add a `74 style brake, different p.g. & east German gray sling. Got tired of the Lancaster candy red furniture(& Warsaw length). Probably would`ve gone for the plum though if they still had it.- btw, took me an hour to order 4 items, kept getting cut off, they are BUSY!!

I just ordered a orange bakelite bayonet for my CAI Polish tantal. I hope it matches up well with the orange forestock; being a slave to fashion and all.

Yup, and they seemed even busier this morning when I broke down and ordered a couple more of the $15 bakelite AK-74 bayonets (I think they should match up well with Tantals). The black Bulgarian bayonets that look to be gen3 were out of stock. The sale is counting down its' final hours now (it was down to less than 10 left when I was on a couple hours ago). It also seems to me that something I saw and was mildly interested in on day one has been removed since, but I cannot recall exactly what it was....

BTW, when I just went back to the K-VAR web site to check, when I clicked "Limited Time Offers and Sales" I got "There are no available products under this category." My direct link to the 45 rounder works, but now shows $49.99 as the price. I guess the sale is probably over now.... I predict there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth by those that snoozed...and losed. :straightf
