View Thread: Unusual Hungarian Krink

I was looking in a book today called "The complete world encyclopedia of guns"
and they show a rifle AK-74S on page 413...but clearly the rifle is a 7.62X39mm rifle.

here is a description of the rifle.

Milled Receiver
30 round steel AKM magazine
Under folder
AK-74SU topcover with sight
front sight on gas block
AK-74SU flash supressor
AMD-63 pistol grip Beechwood
standard upper HG Beechwood with standard length gas tube
AKM style beaver tail lower hang guard beechwood

any idea what the actual designation of this rifle is? I highly doubt it is a 5.45X39mm I suspect they used wrong picture. Has anyone ever seen a rifle like this one before?

In the third Terminator movie, the chick with him uses a Krink on the first robotic weapon they face.

I was fascinated with the rifle ever since.

It appeared to be a short bbl underfolder with a slant brake IIRC, and it looked Hungarian to me.

I want one....
