When I first got my 91/30 it had some problems extracting.I took a 20 ga wirebrush(dipped in clp) and attached it to my drill.I slowly inserted the brush at low speed into the chamber for about 5 minutes(stay away from the rifling) and cleaned out all that sticky junk that has been built up over the years. After that no more problems. It may take a little longer on your rifle, just give it some tender loving care. Also take the bolt apart and clean it as well.It may take a fews tries but you'll get it.

Just about everybody has had this problem of round sticking in the chamber, its only the gummed up mess from steel cases, clean out like the man said,no more problems.

clean the chamber, all will be forgiven by mosin ammo.

I almost always have this problem with steel-cased ammo. I never have the problem with brass-cased ammo. I have drawn a conclusion from that experience.
