I had these made up (top one) out of SS back in 2000 just to see if there would be any interest....

They look awesome - perhaps I'll make up some more once I'm settled in GA....

I thought about that too so one day I went to the sheet metal shop down the street and had them cut me a couple of pieces of perforated sheet that has 1/4 " holes in it and bent them up around a i" piece of bar stock but I didnt make them long enough so Ill have to go get some more about a1/4" larger so they fit tighter.I think they look better than the wood.
