What are the differences, other than the German folder of course, between the Polish Onyx and the regular Russian Krink? From pics it looks like the site is different? What else? I never could tell the diff between Pollish Sausage and German Sausage at the State Fair but I am sure there is something diff there too :D Thanks

I don't remember all of the differences but I think the Polish one has a standard AK top cover instead of a hinged top cover. The hand guard retainer is like the Tantal. The muzzle brake is designed for rifle grenades / attachment of some sort. The sights are different, especially the rear sight. The selector has three round burst.

Every single thing is a little different. and I mean everything. Onyks is a mini-tantal basically. so h/g's and retainer, gas tube, rear site block, top cover, tantal butt stock, barrel, receiver, fire control group, etc... the bolt and carrier might be interchangable, but I've never had a russian Krink, but I am collecting the parts to build an Onyks/early mini-beryl(haven't desided which yet-5.45 or 5.56 probably 5.56 though).

Just got a package from Poland so I figured I'd show off.

Onyks next to my Bulgy for comparison:

The rest I'll have to scratch build, or keep looking, I'm in no real rush. Guess I better start looking for a Tantal kit.

My favorite of all short ak s of all time the onyx/beryl mini. I would love to build one but parts are way too rare.
