BobAsh
I thought you might like to see my latest work.
I was afraid it would look corny, but in person it looks pretty cool.

sweet :D , how do you keep it from leaping out of your hands?

BobAsh
Bill, it's an SBS withan Ace folder although it's hard to see in these pics.

either way i see a problem unless it is registered. i think shotgun pistols are against the law. and sbs have to be registered

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume that BobAsh has taken care of the necessary paperwork for this to be legal.

Don't get y'alls knickers in a twist.

Bob works with Tony Rumore (the guy who started and runs Tromix), and all the "i"s are dotted and "t"s are crossed.

If you have a Saiga-12, and get your own form 1 approved, Tromix can make one of those for you, too.

BobAsh
Yeah, thanks guys...it's a registered SBS. All perfectly legal.

It's a Saiga-12 with 8" barrel.

Just thought you might get a kick out of the charging handle.

I just got off the phone w/ a buddy of mine who had a break in last night. He needs one of these to clear the house.

I love it. Wouldn't change a thing except for the SAW grip.

BobAsh
Thanks.

Personally I like the SAW grip on the shorty, but I use an AK grip on the more traditional models.

I made it, and the forward grip. See my thread about it:Weaponlight Project (http://forum.saiga-12.com/index.php?showtopic=37522)

That looks like something the special forces could use. Wouldn't it be cool if you could get a military contract.

It's pretty close to the same configuration that we have made for many SWAT/LEO/MIL, including the FBI Hostage Rescue Team.

Actually, smoothbore pistols are AOW's and are legal with appropriate registration, but otherwise, that shotty looks like an SBS.
