AK's on the newstand

Yesterday I picked up a specialty magazine called 'The Complete Book of the AK' by Guns and Ammo Magazine. It costs $8.99, which is a bit pricey. But it has great articles and photos; better than any books I've seen. Some of the articles deal with WASR's and are general. The photos of variants were very good, as were the ammo articles. It's one way to get lots of good AK info from one source that's up to date. The magazine is 136 pages and has ten articles.

Yeah, I have it.

I posted my review in the first thread about the mag in Rifle Discussion Forum a couple days ago.

I found out there are actually 22 articles in the magazine, as I read it all yesterday. I had originally said there were ten articles, but didn't turn the page on the contents page to see them all. There's some really good stuff on the latest developments in China and Russia, as they phase out the AK in their own stocks and replace them with newer weapons, but continue to produce them to sell to other armies.

Walmart has it.

They probably chose the cover model based on who paid the most for ad space. By chance is there a Century ad inside?
